What is the country of origin for a DAM product?
All our products are made in Portugal with care. In Portugal, there is an abundance of skills and know-how. There is also a collective heritage that stays genuine. This is why we have passion for our country and a conviction: our location is special and our people make the difference. So, our challenge is to value what is done by hand, locally and integrating new technologies and attitudes.

Our production monitoring involves care and precision. What is the warranty of every DAM product?
All DAM products are guaranteed for a period of 2 years. It includes problems concerned with production or material faults. During this time we will repair or replace the products. The warranty excludes all damages caused by improper usage, negligence or natural wearing out of the product.
What is the lifetime of a DAM product?
Our finest task is to design and manufacture quality products that last for generations. Packaging, type of materials and the recycling of the product are aspects we consider in the design development, to extend the durability of every single product.

Swatches
Can I get swatches for all materials used in DAM products?
DAM has swatches for most materials used in the product’s variants. Please contact us to contact@damportugal.com to ask for a swatch.
Is it possible to ship swatches?
Yes, with a cost.
Is it possible to order single swatches?
Yes, we can send single swatches with a ship cost.
Do you offer a sample box?
No, we can send a sample box at an additional cost.
How do I know which swatches are included in a sample box?

Do your images correspond exactly to the product materials and finishings?
As you view images throughout our site of both products and material swatches, please bear in mind that your computer screen may not represent the colors accurately.
Are there any variations on the materials and finishings of the products?
Yes, color and shade differences may be seen due to natural wood and straw variations, so we cannot guarantee the color/ tonality uniformity. These variations and differences are not considered defects.
Orders & Ordering
How do I cancel my order?
If you’d like to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible. In the case of payment has been received, you can’t cancel the order.
Can I change my order?
At DAM, all our furniture is made to order according to your preferences, which is why we don’t expect you to change your order. But in the vast majority of cases this is possible. If you’ve changed your mind and for example you would like a different color for your upholstered product, please contact us as soon as possible. We’ll do our best to help you.
Payment, Prices & Trade Discounts
Do we work with Trade discounts?
If you are a professional from a shop, interior designer, architect or member of the hospitality industry, we offer trade discounts based on the order total. If you are interested, please email us.
What payment options do you have?
Payments should be made by wire transfer or paypal account. Payments by check are not accepted.

What if I am a Professional? Should I pay VAT/Tax?
If you are a professional and if you order within the EU with a valid VAT number, we will make an adjustment in taxation, for example the exclusion of VAT. If you are ordering from outside the EU, local taxes or import duties may be applied. In any case, you should contact us to contact@damportugal.com to confirm that.
Will I pay customs or import duties?
If your delivery country charges customs or import duties – these will be charged once the package reaches the destination country and you will have to pay these charges. Unfortunately, we have no control over customs and import charges and we cannot inform you how much they will be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country. Please contact your local customs office for further information.
Delivery
Do you provide the transport for my order?
Yes, we can provide the transport for your order. If it’s a country of the European Union, we have a price list with delivery costs included for most of those countries. If it’s outside the EU, we need to get a specific quotation from our partners, case by case.
Which countries do you deliver to?
We deliver to all countries inside the European Union. Contact us for help with delivery and collection.
Do you deliver outside Europe?
Yes, we deliver to countries outside Europe, namely the USA, Canada and Australia. But we need to analyze the shipping costs case by case. For other countries, you can arrange a collection from our warehouse in Portugal, for which you will be fully responsible.
How much does delivery cost?
The delivery price depends on where you live and how much your order weighs. We offer standard or express delivery (DAP incoterms), air, land or ocean freight.
Can I change the delivery date and address?
Yes, certainly. For example, if you have moved an address since you placed your order, you can contact us and we can change the delivery date and address for you. However, this does not apply if the order has already been shipped.
Which delivery options can I choose from?
We offer different delivery options, depending on where you live and on the products you have in your order. We have the following delivery types: standard and express delivery, air, land or ocean freight.
Can I postpone my delivery?
Yes, certainly. If, for example, you’re moving house and want your delivery to be made later than originally indicated, we’d be happy to postpone the delivery for you. However, this does not apply if the order has already been shipped.
