All our side and coffee tables are made in Portugal, namely Paços de Ferreira, Paredes, Barcelos and Leiria. In Portugal, there is an abundance of skills and know-how. There is also a collective heritage that stays genuine. This is why we have passion for our country and a conviction: our location is special and our people make the difference.
Portuguese heritage! We are just 20 kms from the Maritime Coast, 30 kms from the mountains, 40 kms from the airport. Besides this, 30 kms from us is one of the first wine-producing regions of the world – Douro Valley. And also a landscape and heritage that gives us energy and creativity, making us feel good. This is why our small tables reflect what surrounds us.
There is a difference between them. Coffee tables are larger and lower than end tables or side tables. An end table or a side table sits at either end of the couch, at about the same height as the couch arms. A coffee table sits in front of the couch, at the same height as the couch seat.
You can find their EAN codes on both the individual product page and in the catalogue here.
All the dimensions of the tables are stated on the website, catalog and technical sheets under ‘Specifications and dimensions’.
If a table has a specific color name, you can either find it on the product page or in the catalog here.
Please contact us to contact@damportugal.com to receive the prices of our small tables.

Materials
Cork is a material that is 100% natural, recyclable, reusable and renewable. This is why it is regarded as a raw material of excellence with favorable consequences for natural resources and for Planet Earth. The material is dust and stain-repellent, anti-bacterial, washable and waterproof – which makes it wonderful for our end and coffee tables.
Yes! Our cork is 100% sustainable and eco-friendly!
Cork is the outer bark of the cork oak tree, quercus suber, which grows mainly in the Mediterranean region. It is part of the periderm (skin) system that covers the stem/trunk of the tree.

Cork is harvested every nine years on a sustainable basis, without any trees being cut in the process. The bark is stripped off the tree in sections without hurting the trunk by highly skilled professionals, always between May and August. A cork oak tree can live, on average, 200 years, and can be harvested up to 20 times during its life cycle, making cork a truly inexhaustible natural resource.
The “montados” (cork oak forests) are vital for the maintenance and preservation of the flora and fauna. They are the basis for one of the 35 most important biodiversity conservation global ecosystems. Over two hundred animal species and 135 plant species find here the ideal conditions for survival. The “montados” also protect against erosion and consequent desertification. They are an anti-fire barrier, due to the weak combustion of cork, and play a significant role in regulating the hydrological cycle. They also provide a significant contribution with regard to the air we breathe because they fix carbon dioxide. It is estimated that every year the cork forests retain up to 14 million tons of CO2, a precious help to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, the main cause of climate change. Equally surprising is the fact that a harvested cork oak tree, during the natural regeneration process, retains, on average, five times more CO2. The ability to retain carbon dioxide also extends to cork manufactured products, which continue to fulfill this function of CO2 fixation.
Our timber tables are made from American white oak, American black walnut, European ash from sustainable farms.
We use only the highest grade timber available, FAS First and Seconds, with the fewest knots and most consistent grain patterns. And this timber is only available from sustainable farms, as the regular monitoring, pruning, replanting, and general care of the trees on managed forests is what creates planks of this quality.

Marble is a natural material, where large blocks are cut and divided into smaller pieces that are later transformed into your furniture. No two pieces of marble are alike, so every piece of marble furniture will be 100% unique. This also explains why the marble on your new piece of furniture can look different from the marble finish you saw in the store. It is not a defect, it is just a characteristic of a natural, living material such as marble. Enjoy the fact that your marble furniture is completely unique.
Maintenance
At DAM, we believe that natural and authentic materials create furniture that lasts. We spend a long time designing and producing our furniture to achieve the best quality. Correct care will extend the life of your furniture. When you’ll receive your new DAM small table, please check the care and maintenance tips.
Keep your new tables away from direct sunlight. The discoloration will happen over time if left in the sun. Use a dry, soft cotton cloth to clean your piece or a vacuum cleaner. Do not use detergent or any cleaning product, only water (but it also should be avoided). Avoid the contact with acid liquids such as wine, because it could create stains. And most important, give them all your love.
If the wood surface is very stained, wipe the entire surface with a cloth that has been wrung out hard in a mixture of water and dishwashing detergent. Wipe the surface dry with a clean, dry cloth. Never use abrasive cleaners.
Marble is polished and not completely closed and sealed on the surface. If you spill any liquids, it is crucial that you remove the stain immediately so that the liquid doesn’t seep into the marble. The more you wipe your marble surface, the more often you’ll need to treat it. The care product creates a protective membrane that slowly gets washed off, which needs to be maintained to preserve its color and attractive surface.
Please note that marble cannot withstand acid or other acidic detergents. Therefore, if you spill something acidic on the surface, you should wash it off immediately.
Marble cannot withstand warm items, which is why we recommend you avoid placing tealights, saucepans or other hot objects directly on the surface.
If your table has a specific color code, you can contact us to get the right color code.
It depends on the products. In case of damage, for CELESTE or MAGMA tables, we can deliver the cork piece or the tabletop separately. Please contact us and we will analyze case by case, giving you feedback as soon as possible, so you can quickly enjoy your DAM product to the fullest.
In the event of a component or the entire table being damaged, or in the case of the end of its use cycle, the tables are 100% recyclable but the different materials should be separated. The cork should be divided into several parts and proceed to the ecopoint dedicated to cork stoppers to make new agglomerated cork. The wooden structure proceeds to the production of new wood derivatives or combustion. However, the DAM brand is committed to providing all the necessary support in the repair, supply of components or maintenance products such as: putty for cork, wood or finishing grooves. In the case of products still in use, the brand undertakes to negotiate the acquisition and collection of such products.
