Designers
Joana has a special taste for graphic design and craftwork and her work process has always a practical approach. Hugo cannot stay without his sketchbook and seeks for inspiration in the everyday things. Together, they develop narratives and explore emotions through colours, forms, technologies and materials. The results are products with more than what meets the eye – each piece has its singular details, its own story and an ecological approach.
How long should a dining bench be?
The length of a dining bench can vary depending on the size of the dining table and the number of people you want to accommodate. As a general guideline, the length of the bench seat should be either equal to the table length or a little shorter.
What is the advantage of using a wood bench?
A bench seat is more economical than buying wood chairs. It saves space because you can tuck a backless bench seating under the table. And you could also pair a wood bench alongside dining chairs for mix and match seating.
Are all the materials of the cork bench eco-friendly?
We do not use dangerous or harmful chemicals in our products. Our wood and cork are FSC®-certified. Cork and wood are 100% natural, recyclable, reusable and renewable.
Where can the wood bench be used?
This cork bench can be used in dining areas, kitchens, bathrooms, entryway or foyers, hallways and corridors, public spaces, restaurants, cafes, bars and outdoor spaces (if we apply a special finishing).
